About ACDs

Ad Credit Days (ACDs) are the most innovative vacancy advertising payment system on the Internet. Previously, when placing an advertisement in a newspaper or Job Centre, the customer simply paid a single amount for a specific duration of time, for example one, two weeks.

In practise, any advertised vacancy receives almost 75% of its total applications within the first three - seven days and certainly the high percentage of applications are received within the first 10 days. Applications continue to arrive at an ever-decreasing rate until the published closing date. Although vacancy Ads will also act as a continued 'magnet' for potential candidates the reality is that the client begins the process of sorting the applications, but cannot begin interviewing until that closing date has passed and that can be anything up to three weeks.

The Internet offers speed, transparency and the ability to update at the touch of a button. So online recruitment should be combining the best traditional recruitment practises, with the instant update capability of new media. But again, the online recruiters insist on using the old, outdated methods of time-based advertising.

ACDs change all that. The formula is simple:-

1 Vacancy for 1 Day costs 1 ACD

An Employer or Recruitment Agent can purchase ACDs in set amounts and allocate them to vacancy advertisements. But, most importantly, there is no time limit or set duration for an advertisement.

Example

If you purchase 30 ACDs, then that enables you to either:-

Post 1 ad for 30 days
Post 30 ads for 1 day each
Post 2 ads for 15 days each
Post 6 ads for 5 days each
Any combination that befits your vacancy profiles

Most importantly, if you have placed a vacancy for 15 days and you are deluged with applicants within the first week, simply remove the advertisement AT NO CHARGE. In fact, we even recredit your account with the unused ACDs.

Example

Purchase 30 ACDs
Place 1 vacancy to run for 14 days
Your new balance is 16 ACDs
20 suitable applications received in 7 days, so you withdraw the ad.
7 unused ACDs recredited to your account - TO BE USED AGAIN
Your new balance is 23 ACDs

Your Vacancy Ads and ACDs are managed using the simple Client Control Panel (on-screen - LIVE & In REAL TIME Statement) where, at the touch of a button you can place ads, extend or renew ads, modify ads or withdraw them. You can even place a FILLED stamp to show candidates how effective you are which will display the Ad for a further 7 days and still you receive the credit days back.

Expiry

ACDs never expire. You can use all your ACDs immediately, or just hang onto the unused ones until you need them. You will be sent a email statement once a month with details of your current ACD balance.
